TeraDRE (Distributed Rendering Environment on the TeraGrid) is a resource that allows users to render their 3d animations using a cluster of over 4,000 machines.
This can greatly improve render time while allowing temporary storage for large renders. When a render finishes, TeraDRE will automatically generate a movie for download in addition to zipping all the raw frames for download. You have the option of receiving an e-mail or text message when your render is complete and you can view a movie of your render that is specially formatted for web capable cell phones.
TeraDRE currently supports Maya , Blender, POVray, and Gelato.
